美国是传媒行业发展非常发达的国家，而且美国的教育也是世界一流的，拥有众多传媒专业的牛校。每年来自世界各地的优秀学生，都会申请这些学校，竞争这有限的名额。那么，这些传媒专业的牛校，他们对学生最低的录取条件是怎么样的，哪个学校更好申请呢？下面我对Missouri, University of-Columbia、UCSB、Syracuse University这三所传媒牛校的官方申请最低要求和一些特殊条件来进行分析，从这两方面来看，评测一下三所学校申请的难度。

申请必须提供的材料：

Official undergraduate/graduate transcripts.

Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores (verbal, quantitative, analytical), taken within the past five years.

Résumé or Curriculum vitae.

Three letters of recommendation, which should come from qualified people (former or present instructors) who can attest to your ability to complete graduate study.

A sample of scholarly writing (e.g., course paper)

A statement of purpose (no more than 500 words) clearly explaining your interest in pursuing a graduate degree, your intended field of study, your professional goals, and your background.

Missouri, University of-Columbia在美国综合排名是85，但是它是美国最早成立传媒学院的大学，是传媒专业的老牌牛校，非常注重学术研究。学校的研究生录取最低要求并不高，但是实际的竞争是非常激烈的。传媒专业可以提供PHD学位，而且PHD学位的毕业率很高，达到了91%,远远超过了平均传播学PHD的平均毕业率。但是PHD只录取Master学生，本科毕业的不能直接申请。研究生学习非本专业的，需要有选修或学过相关核心课程，所以对想申请PHD的学生来说，有一定难度。需要注意的是申请传媒专业，最好能够有相关工作背景，并且学校要求提供Writing Sample。
